Maximum Temperature of India from 2000 to 2014

The maximum temperature of India has shown an inconsistent pattern recording rise and decline during various years in the time period between the years 2000 to 2014. The visualisation depicts the maximum temperature recorded, average of temperature of India, on the periodical basis during the year, which is divided into four periods viz. January-February, March – May, June- September and October – December. The maximum temperature has varied in a particular period over the years on one hand; and on the other hand, it has also varied between these four periods during the same year.

Usually, the maximum temperature was recorded during the period March – May between the years 2000 to 2014; except the year 2014. In the year 2014, maximum temperature recorded during the period March – May was 31.8 degree Celsius, which was lower than maximum temperature of 32 degree Celsius recorded during the period June- September in 2014.

During the period January-February, the maximum temperature recorded was 24.82 degree Celsius in the year 2000. It increased to 24.9 degree Celsius in the year 2014 recording a growth of 0.08 degree Celsius between the years 2000 to 2014. During the period March – May, the maximum temperature recorded was 32.22 degree Celsius in the year 2000. It decreased to 31.82 degree Celsius in the year 2014 recording a decline of -0.40 degree Celsius between the years 2000 to 2014.

During the period June- September, the maximum temperature recorded was 31.25 degree Celsius in the year 2000. It increased to 32 degree Celsius in the year 2014 recording a growth of 0.75 degree Celsius between the years 2000 to 2014. During the period October – December, the maximum temperature recorded was 28.53 degree Celsius in the year 2000. It decreased to 27.81 degree Celsius in the year 2014 recording a decline of -0.72 degree Celsius between the years 2000 to 2014.
