Major Organic Chemicals Export from 2008-09 to 2015-16

India is a major exporter of Chemicals. The data related to the export of major organic chemicals during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16 has been analyzed in this visualization, specifically related to Acetic Anhydride, Methanol and Ethyl Acetate.

The export of Acetic Anhydride was 4168 tonnes in 2008-09. The export of Acetic Anhydride increased to 18605 tonnes in 2015-16. The export of Acetic Anhydride had registered total absolute growth of 14437 tonnes during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16. In percentage terms, the export of Acetic Anhydride had shown a growth rate of 346.38% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16. The average annual percentage growth recorded by the export of Acetic Anhydride was 49.48% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16.

The export of Methanol was 3264 tonnes in 2008-09. The export of Methanol increased to 44013 tonnes in 2015-16. The export of Methanol had registered total absolute growth of 40749 tonnes during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16. In percentage terms, the export of Methanol had shown a growth rate of 1248.44% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16. The average annual percentage growth recorded by the export of Methanol was 178.35% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16.

The export of Ethyl Acetate was 30753 tonnes in 2008-09. The export of Ethyl Acetate increased to 104814 tonnes in 2015-16. The export of Ethyl Acetate had registered total absolute growth of 74061 tonnes during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16. In percentage terms, the export of Ethyl Acetate had shown a growth rate of 240.83% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16. The average annual percentage growth recorded by the export of Ethyl Acetate was 34.4% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16.
