LPG Consumption in India from 2012-13 to 2018-19

India has witnessed an increasing trend in consumption (end use) of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from 2012-13 to 2018-19. However we have seen compound annual growth rate of 8.11% in consumption (end use) of LPG in India during the period under consideration.

Consumption (end use) of LPG was 15,600.7 thousand metric tonnes (TMT) in India in 2012-13. It has increased by 4.44% to 16,293.6 TMT during 2013-14 above 2012-13. Annual growth of 8.02% has been observed in consumption (end use) of LPG during 2017-18 from 21,608.2 TMT during 2016-17. Consumption (end use) of LPG was 24,906.8 TMT in India during 2018-19, up by 6.7% against 23,341.8 TMT during 2017-18.

Maximum annual growth rate of 10.47% has been seen in 2014-15 in consumption (end use) of LPG during the period under consideration.
