LPG connections released under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana As on 15th March 2018

As on 15th March 2018, Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) released 348,03,604 LPG connections in India under Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY). The top 5 States/UTs with respect to LPG connections released under PMUY as on 15.03.2018 were Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

The number of LPG connections released in Uttar Pradesh was 64,44,619 under PMUY as on 15th March 2018, which accounted 18.52% of the total LPG connections released under PMUY in India. There were 49,89,928 LPG connections released in West Bengal under PMUY as on 15.03.2018. It accounted 14.34% of the total LPG connections released under PMUY in India as on the same period. The number of LPG connections released in Bihar was 48,14,371 under PMUY as on 15th March 2018, which accounted 13.83% of the total LPG connections released under PMUY in India.

There were release of 32,33,917 and 25,82,301 LPG connections under PMUY in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan respectively as on 15th March 2018. Madhya Pradesh accounted for 9.29% and Rajasthan accounted for 7.42% of the total LPG connections released under PMUY in India as on 15.03.2018.
