Length of Roads Constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana from 2014-15 to 2018-19

We have observed compound annual growth rate of 6.55% in length of roads constructed in India under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) from 2014-15 to 2018-19.

The construction of road length was 38,043 km under PMGSY during 2014-15. It has down by -7.6% to 35,150 km during 2015-16 over 2014-15. Annual growth of 2.67% has been seen in length of roads constructed under PMGSY during 2017-18 from 47,446 km during 2016-17. Length of roads constructed was 49,038 km during 2018-19, up by 0.67% against 48,714 km during 2017-18.

The maximum annual growth of 34.98% has been found in 2016-17 in construction of road length during the period under consideration.
