The National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) is a welfare Programme being administered by the Ministry of Rural Development. This Programme is being implemented in rural areas as well as urban areas. The National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) represents a significant step towards the fulfilment of the Directive Principles of State Policy enshrined in the Constitution of India which enjoin upon the State to undertake within its means a number of welfare measures.

State-wise Analysis of Total Beneficiaries:
This chart illustrate the information about the total number of beneficiaries was 9, 60,669 under Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS) during 2024-25 (as on 31st May 2024). The highest number of beneficiaries was 1, 46,414 in Madhya Pradesh. The lowest number of beneficiaries was 2 in Andaman and Nicobar.
State/UT wise Analysis of Percentage:
This chart illustrate the information about the state/UT percentage of beneficiaries under Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension Scheme (IGNDPS) during 2024-25 (as on 31st May 2024). The top 10 state/UT in terms of percentage of total beneficiaries were Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana and Chhattisgarh.

The top 10 state/UT in terms of Beneficiaries Having Aadhar Card were Odisha, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Haryana.
