Import v/s Export of Fuel Oil by India from 2011-12 to 2017-18

Fuel oil imported by India was US$ 912 million in 2011-12. It has shrunk by -14.69% to US$ 778 million during 2012-13 over 2011-12. Annual decline of -24.79% has been observed in import of fuel oil by India during 2016-17 from US$ 363 million during 2015-16. Import of fuel oil by India was US$ 536 million during 2017-18, up by 96.34% versus US$ 273 million during 2016-17.

We have seen annual de-growth of -29.27% in export of fuel oil by India from US$ 5,312 million during 2011-12 to US$ 3,757 million during 2012-13. Fuel oil exported by India was US$ 688 million in 2015-16. It has tanked by -15.26% during 2016-17 above 2015-16. Export of fuel oil by India was US$ 805 million during 2017-18, up by 38.08% against US$ 583 million during 2016-17.

The maximum value of US$ 942 million has been found in 2013-14 in import of fuel oil by India during the period under consideration. The maximum value of US$ 5,312 million has been seen in 2011-12 in export of fuel oil by India during the period under consideration.
