Import v/s Export of Diesel by India from 2011-12 to 2017-18

Diesel imported by India was US$ 1,096 million in 2011-12. It has tanked by -53.74% to US$ 507 million during 2012-13 above 2011-12. Annual growth of 376.09% has been seen in import of diesel by India during 2016-17 from US$ 92 million during 2015-16. Import of diesel by India was US$ 653 million during 2017-18, up by 49.09% against US$ 438 million during 2016-17.

We have observed annual decline of -2.58% in export of diesel by India from US$ 21,815 million during 2011-12 to US$ 21,253 million during 2012-13. Diesel exported by India was US$ 10,180 million in 2015-16. It has increased by 16.94% during 2016-17 above 2015-16. Export of diesel by India was US$ 15,395 million during 2017-18, up by 29.32% verses US$ 11,905 million during 2016-17.

The maximum value of US$ 1,096 million has been found in 2011-12 in import of diesel by India during the period under consideration. The maximum value of US$ 24,336 million has been seen in 2013-14 in export of diesel by India during the period under consideration.
