Import of Synthetic Rubbers in India during 2014-15

The total import of Synthetic Rubber (Elastomers) was 10692779 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It increased from 9448662 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of 1244117 metric tonnes (13.17%) as compared to the year 2013-14.

The total import of Styrene Butadiene Rubber was 223549 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It decreased from 239544 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -15995 metric tonnes (-6.68%) as compared to the year 2013-14.

The total import of Poly Butadiene Rubber was 70471 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It decreased from 86200 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -15729 metric tonnes (-18.25%) as compared to the year 2013-14.

The total import of Ethyl Propylene Dimers was 33348 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It increased from 30347 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of 3001 metric tonnes (9.89%) as compared to the year 2013-14.

The total import of Ethyl Vinyl Acetate was 139414 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It increased from 114764 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of 24650 metric tonnes (21.48%) as compared to the year 2013-14.

The total import of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber was 26719 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It decreased from 29596 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a decrease of -2877 metric tonnes (-9.72%) as compared to the year 2013-14.

The total import of Butyl Rubber was 84899 metric tonnes in the year 2014-15. It increased from 79882 metric tonnes in the year 2013-14, recording a growth of 5017 metric tonnes (6.28%) as compared to the year 2013-14.
