Import of Major Chemicals during 2009-10 to 2016-17

We have observed a compound annual growth rate of 9.68% in Import of Major Chemicals during 2009-10 to 2016-17. Import of Major Chemicals was 2827773 metric tonne during 2009-10. It has decreased by -1.25% to 2792430 metric tonne during 2010-11 over 2009-10. In terms of value it was Rs. 793220 lakh during 2009-10 and Rs. 942395 lakh during 2010-11.

An annual growth of 6.67% has been seen in Import of Major Chemicals from 5024539 metric tonne during 2014-15 to 5359734 metric tonne during 2015-16. Its value was Rs. 2058494 lakh and Rs. 1931262 lakh during 2014-15 and 2015-16 respectively. We have observed an annual growth of 0.75% in Import of Major Chemicals during 2016-17 to 5399954 metric tonne, value of which was Rs. 2060148 lakh during 2016-17.

Maximum annual growth of 25.2% has been observed in 2012-13 in Import of Major Chemicals during the period from 2009-10 to 2016-17.
