Household Employment under MGNREGA from 2006-07 to 2014-15

The number of households who demanded employment under Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) was 21188894 in 2006-07. The number of households provided employment was 21016099 in 2006-07. Thus, the percentage of households provided employment was 99.18% of the total households who demanded employment in 2006-07.The number of households who demanded employment was 34326563 in 2007-08. The number of households provided employment was 33909132 in 2007-08. Thus, the percentage of households provided employment was 98.78% of the total households who demanded employment in 2007-08.The number of households who demanded employment was 45516341 in 2008-09. The number of households provided employment was 45112792 in 2008-09. Thus, the percentage of households provided employment was 99.11% of the total households who demanded employment in 2008-09.
