This visualization shows the growth of Gross National Income (GNI), Net National Income (NNI) and Per Capita NNI at current prices from 2004-05 to 2013-14. The GNI is defined as the sum of value added by all producers who are residents in a nation, plus income received from abroad such as employee compensation and property income. NNI is the GNI minus depreciation of fixed capital. Per capita NNI is derived by dividing NNI by population.
For the study of growth of GNI, NNI and per capita NNI, year 2004-05 has been assigned 100 as Index number. In year 2005-06, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 114.1, 114.1 and 112.4 i.e. 14.1%, 14.1% and 12.4% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2006-07, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 132.9, 133.2 and 129.3 i.e. 32.9%, 33.2% and 29.3% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2007-08, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 154.7, 155.1 and 148.4 i.e. 54.7%, 55.1% and 48.5% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2008-09, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 178.7, 179 and 168.9 i.e. 78.7%, 79% and 68.9% growth over year 2004-05.
In year 2009-10, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 205.9, 205.8 and 191.6 i.e. 105.9%, 105.8% and 91.6% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2010-11, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 243, 243.7 and 223.8 i.e. 143%, 143.7% and 123.8% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2011-12, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 281.9, 282.8 and 256.2 i.e. 181.9%, 182.8% and 156.2% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2012-13, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 314.4, 314 and 281 i.e. 214.4%, 214% and 181% growth over year 2004-05. In year 2013-14, GNI, NNI and per capita NNI were 350.8, 348.8 and 308.1 i.e. 250.8%, 248.8% and 208.1% growth over year 2004-05.
