The Government has undertaken several initiatives to increase solar energy production in the country.
Total 136217.7 million units were generated during 2015-16 to 2019-20. Increasing trends have been observed during the aforesaid time period. The highest solar energy was generated in 2019-20 while the lowest solar energy was generated in 2015-16.
