This chart provides information about the food subsidy released to Decentralized Procurement (DCP) States under Food Security Scheme during 2022-23 (as on 31.01.2023). The total of Rs. 52,082.13 crore subsidy were released to Decentralized Procurement (DCP) States under Food Security Scheme. The top 10 state/ut in terms of food subsidy were Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.

Data for Jharkhand was DCP for KMS 2016-17 (only for 1 district) 2017-18 (only for 5 District), 2018-19 (only for 6 District). They have adopted Non-DCP in KMS 2019-20..Under DBT scheme, w.e.f. 2015-16 subsidy is released to UTs of Chandigarh, Puducherry, Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
