Export of Major Inorganic Chemicals from 2008-09 to 2015-16

India is a major exporter of Chemicals. The data related to the export of major inorganic chemicals during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16 has been analyzed in this visualization, specifically related to Carbon Black, Titanium Dioxide and Calcium Carbonate.

The export of Carbon Black was 79603 tonnes in 2008-09. The export of Carbon Black increased to 114668 tonnes in 2015-16. The export of Carbon Black had registered total absolute growth of 35065 tonnes during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16. In percentage terms, the export of Carbon Black had shown a growth rate of 44.05% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16. The average annual percentage growth recorded by the export of Carbon Black was 6.29% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16.

The export of Titanium Dioxide was 6835 tonnes in 2008-09. The export of Titanium Dioxide decreased to 4436 tonnes in 2015-16. The export of Titanium Dioxide had registered total absolute decrease of -2399 tonnes during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16. In percentage terms, the export of Titanium Dioxide had shown a decrease rate of -35.1% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16. The average annual percentage decrease recorded by the export of Titanium Dioxide was -5.01% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16.

The export of Calcium Carbonate was 15805 tonnes in 2008-09. The export of Calcium Carbonate increased to 33808 tonnes in 2015-16. The export of Calcium Carbonate had registered total absolute growth of 18003 tonnes during the period from the Financial Year 2008-09 to the Financial Year 2015-16. In percentage terms, the export of Calcium Carbonate had shown a growth rate of 113.91% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16. The average annual percentage growth recorded by the export of Calcium Carbonate was 16.27% during the period from FY 2008-09 to FY 2015-16.
