Export of Finished Steel by India from 2015-16 to 2020-21

The export of finished steel by India was 4.08 million tonne (MT) in 2015-16. It has surged by 102% to 8.24 MT during 2016-17 above 2015-16. We have observed annual growth of 31.4% in export of finished steel by India during 2019-20 from 6.36 MT during 2018-19. The export of finished steel by India was 8.31 MT during 2020-21, down by -0.6% against 8.36 MT during 2019-20. The value of exported finished steel by India was Rs. 22658, 35265, 46629, 33153, 36726 and 32718 crores from 2015-16 to 2020-21 respectively.
