Export of Basmati Rice during April-2015 to March-2017

No clear trend is visible in export of Basmati rice from April-2015 to March-2017. Export of Basmati rice was USD 340.42 million during April-2015. It has increased by 15.8% to USD 394.12 million during May-2015 above Apr-2015. Monthly growth of 22.5% has been seen in export of Basmati rice from USD 262.66 million during Apr-2016 to USD 321.67 million during May-2016.

We have observed monthly growth of 9.3% in export of Basmati rice during Feb-2017 above Jan-2017 from USD 267.64 million. Export of Basmati rice was USD 357.11 million during Mar-2017, up by 22.1% versus USD 292.4 million during Feb-2017.

Maximum monthly growth of 51.8% and maximum monthly decline of -36.5% has been found in September, 2015 and August, 2016 respectively in export of Basmati rice during the period from April-2015 to March-2017.
