Expenditure on Afforestation from 2002-03 to 2014-15

The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 151.26 crores in 2002-03. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 207.98 crores in 2003-04. It increased by Rs. 56.72 crores as compared to 2002-03. In percentage terms, the increase was 37.5%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 233 crores in 2004-05. It increased by Rs. 25.02 crores as compared to 2003-04. In percentage terms, the increase was 12.03%.

The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 248.12 crores in 2005-06. It increased by Rs. 15.12 crores as compared to 2004-05. In percentage terms, the increase was 6.49%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 292.75 crores in 2006-07. It increased by Rs. 44.63 crores as compared to 2005-06. In percentage terms, the increase was 17.99%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 392.95 crores in 2007-08. It increased by Rs. 100.2 crores as compared to 2006-07. In percentage terms, the increase was 34.23%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 345.62 crores in 2008-09. It decreased by Rs. -47.33 crores as compared to 2007-08. In percentage terms, the decrease was -12.04%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 318.17 crores in 2009-10. It decreased by Rs. -27.45 crores as compared to 2008-09. In percentage terms, the decrease was -7.94%.

The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 309.99 crores in 2010-11. It decreased by Rs. -8.18 crores as compared to 2009-10. In percentage terms, the decrease was -2.57%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 303 crores in 2011-12. It decreased by Rs. -6.99 crores as compared to 2010-11. In percentage terms, the decrease was -2.25%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 193.37 crores in 2012-13. It decreased by Rs. -109.63 crores as compared to 2011-12. In percentage terms, the decrease was -36.18%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 257.62 crores in 2013-14. It increased by Rs. 64.25 crores as compared to 2012-13. In percentage terms, the increase was 33.23%. The expenditure on afforestation was Rs. 243.78 crores in 2014-15. It decreased by Rs. -13.84 crores as compared to 2013-14. In percentage terms, the decrease was -5.37%.

The maximum annual growth in expenditure on afforestation of Rs. 100.2 crores was recorded in the year 2007-08 during the period under consideration. The maximum annual growth in percentage terms in expenditure on afforestation of 37.5% was recorded in the year 2003-04 during the period under consideration.
