Estimates of Per Capita Availability of Egg in India during 1950-51 to 2012-13

The per capita availability of egg was 5 eggs per annum during the year 1950-51. The per capita availability of egg was 7 eggs per annum during the year 1960-61. It increased by 2 eggs per annum as compared to the year 1950-51. In percentage terms, the inclination was 40% during the period.The per capita availability of egg was 10 eggs per annum during the year 1968-69. It increased by 3 eggs per annum as compared to the year 1960-61. In percentage terms, the inclination was 43% during the period.

The per capita availability of egg was 15 eggs per annum during the year 1980-81. It increased by 5 eggs per annum as compared to the year 1968-69. In percentage terms, the growth was 50% during the period.The per capita availability of egg was 25 eggs per annum during the year 1990-91. It increased by 10 eggs per annum as compared to the year 1980-81. In percentage terms, the growth was 67% during the period.

The per capita availability of egg was 36 eggs per annum during the year 2000-01. It increased by 11 eggs per annum as compared to the year 1990-91. In percentage terms, the growth was 44% during the period. The per capita availability of egg was 53 eggs per annum during the year 2010-11. It increased by 17 eggs per annum as compared to the year 2000-2001. In percentage terms, the growth was 47% during the period.

The per capita availability of egg was 55 eggs per annum during the year 2011-12. It increased by 2 eggs per annum as compared to the year 2010-2011. In percentage terms, the growth was 4% during the period. The per capita availability of egg was 58 eggs per annum during the year 2012-13. It increased by 3 eggs per annum as compared to the year 2011-2012. In percentage terms, the growth was 5% during the period.
