Estimates of Per Capita Availability of Egg in India during 1950-51 to 2012-13

The per capita availability of egg was 5 eggs per annum during the year 1950-51. The per capita availability of egg was 7 eggs per annum during the year 1960-61. It increased by 2 eggs per annum as compared to the year 1950-51. In percentage terms, the inclination was 40% during the period.The per capita availability of egg was 10 eggs per annum during the year 1968-69.
