The electricity generation target from Hydro Electric Stations (above 25 MW capacity) was 105.9 billion units in 2007-08. The actual electricity generation was 119.81 billion units in 2007-08. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 113.1% in 2007-08.

The electricity generation target was 114.84 billion units in 2008-09. It increased by 8.44% as compared to 2007-08. The actual electricity generation was 109.84 billion units in 2008-09. It decreased by -8.32% as compared to 2007-08. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 96.65% in 2008-09.

The electricity generation target was 115.47 billion units in 2009-10. It increased by 0.55% as compared to 2008-09. The actual electricity generation was 103.92 billion units in 2009-10. It decreased by -5.39% as compared to 2008-09. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 90% in 2009-10.

The electricity generation target was 111.35 billion units in 2010-11. It decreased by -3.57% as compared to 2009-10. The actual electricity generation was 114.26 billion units in 2010-11. It increased by 9.95% as compared to 2009-10. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 102.61% in 2010-11.

The electricity generation target was 112.05 billion units in 2011-12. It increased by 0.63% as compared to 2010-11. The actual electricity generation was 130.51 billion units in 2011-12. It increased by 14.22% as compared to 2010-11. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 116.47% in 2011-12.

The electricity generation target was 122.05 billion units in 2012-13. It increased by 8.92% as compared to 2011-12. The actual electricity generation was 113.72 billion units in 2012-13. It decreased by -12.86% as compared to 2011-12. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 93.18% in 2012-13.

The electricity generation target was 122.26 billion units in 2013-14. It increased by 0.17% as compared to 2012-13. The actual electricity generation was 134.85 billion units in 2013-14. It increased by 18.58% as compared to 2012-13. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 110.29% in 2013-14.

The electricity generation target was 124.3 billion units in 2014-15. It increased by 1.67% as compared to 2013-14. The actual electricity generation was 129.24 billion units in 2014-15. It decreased by -4.16% as compared to 2013-14. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 103.98% in 2014-15.

The electricity generation target was 128 billion units in 2015-16. It increased by 2.98% as compared to 2014-15. The actual electricity generation was 121.34 billion units in 2015-16. It decreased by -6.11% as compared to 2014-15. The percentage of actual electricity generation vis-a-vis target was 94.8% in 2015-16.
