District-wise Percentage of Mothers who had full antenatal care in Odisha during 2015-16

As per National Family Health Survey-4 (NFHS-4), Subarnapur district among all the districts of Odisha had the highest percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care in 2015-16, i.e., 45.05% followed by Puri, Jharsuguda and so on. Percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care in Puri district of Odisha was 40.06% during 2015-16. Percentage of mothers who had full antenatal care in Jharsuguda district of Odisha was 36.49% during 2015-16.

There were other twelve districts in Odisha which were seen above 25% of mothers who had full antenatal care in 2015-16 (NFHS-4), i.e., Jagatsinghapur, Sambalpur, Balangir, Sundargarh, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Baudh, Anugul, Bargarh, Rayagada and Nabarangapur with 35.23%, 35.12%, 34.38%, 33.67%, 32.03%, 31.94%, 31.93%, 30.13%, 27.98%, 27.14%, 26.84% and 25.64% respectively.

Fifteen districts in Odisha which were seen below 25% of mothers who had full antenatal care in 2015-16 (NFHS-4) viz. Mayurbhanj, Dhenkanal, Nayagarh, Jajapur, Debagarh, Koraput, Kendujhar, Khordha, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Kalahandi, Bhadrak, Gajapati, Ganjam and Baleshwar with 24.7%, 23.75%, 22.93%, 21.1%, 19.88%, 19.52%, 19.04%, 18.36%, 16.33%, 14.32%, 13.68%, 12.58%, 12.47%, 9.59% and 9.49% respectively.
