Disbursal of Community Investment Fund to Self Help Groups under National Rural Livelihoods Mission as on 31.07.2015

The total number of Self Help Groups (SHGs) provided Community Investment Fund (CIF) under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) was 25991 as on 31.03.2014. Their number increased to 123702 as on 31.07.2015, recording a growth of 97711 SHGs as compared to 31.03.2014. In percentage terms, the progress made in the number of SHGs between 31.03.2014 and 31.07.2015 was 375.94%.

The Number of predominantly SC SHGs provided CIF was 4781 as on 31.03.2014. Their number increased to 25668 as on 31.07.2015, recording a growth of 20887 SHGs as compared to 31.03.2014. In percentage terms, the progress made in the number of SHGs between 31.03.2014 and 31.07.2015 was 436.88%.

The Number of predominantly ST SHGs provided CIF was 7168 as on 31.03.2014. Their number increased to 30958 as on 31.07.2015, recording a growth of 23790 SHGs as compared to 31.03.2014. In percentage terms, the progress made in the number of SHGs between 31.03.2014 and 31.07.2015 was 331.89%.

The Number of predominantly Minority SHGs provided CIF was 1529 as on 31.03.2014. Their number increased to 8565 as on 31.07.2015, recording a growth of 7036 SHGs as compared to 31.03.2014. In percentage terms, the progress made in the number of SHGs between 31.03.2014 and 31.07.2015 was 460.17%.

The Number of predominantly PWD SHGs provided CIF was 10 as on 31.03.2014. Their number increased to 48 as on 31.07.2015, recording a growth of 38 SHGs as compared to 31.03.2014. In percentage terms, the progress made in the number of SHGs between 31.03.2014 and 31.07.2015 was 380%.
