Cyclones (34 knots or more) hit to Andhra Pradesh (East Coast) during 1891 to 2017

Andhra Pradesh (East Coast) hit 77 times totally by cyclones with speed of 34 knots or more during 1891 to 2017; out of which 31 times was being punched with severe cyclonic storm with speed of 47 knots or more during the same period. Andhra Pradesh (East Coast) was being hit by three cyclones in 1915 and 1987 each with speed of 34 knots or more; out of which one was severe cyclonic storm having 47 knots or more speed during 1987.

Annually two times cyclones (>=34 knots) slapped to Andhra Pradesh (East Coast) in the year 1892, 1904, 1933, 1955, 1956, 1969, 1972, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1985, 1989 and 1996; out of which one time severe cyclonic storm (>=47 knots) punched in each year during 1969, 1972, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1989 and 1996. Two cyclones in each year punched during 1972, 1976 and 1977 to Andhra Pradesh (East Coast) having cyclonic storm of 47 knots or more speed.

Annually one time cyclones (34 knots or more) hit to Andhra Pradesh (East Coast) in 1895, 1906, 1911, 1914, 1921, 1922, 1925, 1927, 1940, 1965, 1966, 1968, 1984, 1990, 1998, 2003, 2010, 2013 and 2014 with one time severe cyclonic storm in each year with speed of 47 knots or more during the period under consideration.
