The Enrolment of Students was 234969 in all Central Universities as on 31st March 2017. There were 186004, 31345 and 17620 Enrolment of Students in Non-NER Central Universities, NER Central Universities and New Central Universities respectively as on 31-3-2017.
There were various courses namely Diploma/Certificate, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, 5 Year Integrated Course, M.Phil./M.Tech. and Ph.D. for Enrolment of Students as on 31st March 2017. Out of the total 234969 Enrolments in all Central Universities; The enrolment of students for Diploma/Certificate, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, 5 Year Integrated Course, M.Phil./M.Tech. and Ph.D. was 16010 (6.81%), 78472 (33.4%), 88729 (37.76%), 14967 (6.37%), 11770 (5.01%) and 25021 (10.65%) respectively.
Out of the total 186004 Enrolments for Non-NER Central Universities; 14410 (7.75%), 71959 (38.69%), 63028 (33.89%), 8077 (4.34%), 9604 (5.16%) and 18926 (10.18%) students were enrolled for Diploma/Certificate, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, 5 Year Integrated Course, M.Phil./M.Tech. and Ph.D. respectively. Out of the total 31345 Enrolments for NER Central Universities; 1193 (3.81%), 4934 (15.74%), 17441 (55.64%), 1929 (6.15%), 1326 (4.23%) and 4522 (14.43%) students were enrolled for Diploma/Certificate, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, 5 Year Integrated Course, M.Phil./M.Tech. and Ph.D. respectively. Out of the total 17620 Enrolments for New Central Universities; 407 (2.31%), 1579 (8.96%), 8260 (46.88%), 4961 (28.16%), 840 (4.77%) and 1573 (8.93%) students were enrolled for Diploma/Certificate, Undergraduate, Postgraduate, 5 Year Integrated Course, M.Phil./M.Tech. and Ph.D. respectively.
