Compost Production in the Country from 2009-10 to 2014-15

The production of Rural compost in 2009-10 was 804.49 metric tonnes. The production of Urban compost in 2009-10 was 618.96 metric tonnes. The production of Vermi compost in 2009-10 was 73.72 metric tonnes.

The production of Rural compost in 2010-11 was 797.54 metric tonnes. It recorded -0.86% decline over the previous year. The production of Urban compost in 2010-11 was 111.24 metric tonnes. It recorded -82.03% decline over the previous year. The production of Vermi compost in 2010-11 was 114.16 metric tonnes. It recorded 54.86% growth over the previous year.

The production of Rural compost in 2011-12 was 939.85 metric tonnes. It recorded 17.84% growth over the previous year. The production of Urban compost in 2011-12 was 140.86 metric tonnes. It recorded 26.63% growth over the previous year. The production of Vermi compost in 2011-12 was 268.5 metric tonnes. It recorded 135.2% growth over the previous year.

The production of Rural compost in 2012-13 was 1039.35 metric tonnes. It recorded 10.59% growth over the previous year. The production of Urban compost in 2012-13 was 143.04 metric tonnes. It recorded 1.55% growth over the previous year. The production of Vermi compost in 2012-13 was 53.7 metric tonnes. It recorded -80% decline over the previous year.

The production of Rural compost in 2013-14 was 224.97 metric tonnes. It recorded -78.35% decline over the previous year. The production of Urban compost in 2013-14 was 63.33 metric tonnes. It recorded -55.73% decline over the previous year. The production of Vermi compost in 2013-14 was 582.27 metric tonnes. It recorded 984.3% growth over the previous year.

The production of Rural compost in 2014-15 was 225.88 metric tonnes. It recorded 0.4% growth over the previous year. The production of Urban compost in 2014-15 was 64.22 metric tonnes. It recorded 1.41% growth over the previous year. The production of Vermi compost in 2014-15 was 583.2 metric tonnes. It recorded 0.16% growth over the previous year.
