Coffee Production in India from 2001-02 to 2016-17

Production of Coffee was 301 thousand metric tonne (MT) in India during 2001-02. It has decreased by -8.64% to 275 thousand MT during 2002-03 over 2001-02. We have observed annual growth of 3.97% in Coffee production in India from 302 thousand MT during 2010-11 to 314 thousand MT during 2011-12. Coffee production was 320 thousand MT in India during 2016-17, down by -8.05% versus 348 thousand MT during 2015-16.

Maximum Coffee production of 348 thousand MT was found in 2015-16 during the period under consideration. Minimum production of Coffee was 262 thousand MT observed in 2007-08 & 2008-09 during the period under consideration. Maximum annual growth of 10.69% has been seen in production of Coffee in 2009-10 during the period under consideration.
