Coal Consumption in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20

The consumption of coal in India was 836.73 million tonnes in 2015-16. It has increased by 0.1% to 837.22 million tonnes during 2016-17 above 2015-16. We have observed annual growth of 7.8% in coal consumption in India during 2018-19 from 898.52 million tonnes during 2017-18. The consumption of coal in India was 954.72 million tonnes during 2019-20, down by -1.4% against 968.25 million tonnes during 2018-19.
