Andaman & Nicobar Islands with 851 has the highest Civil Police per Lakh Population followed by Lakshadweep with 655 and Chandigarh with 524. Bihar has the lowest Civil Police Man per Lakh Population of 52. Ten States/UTs namely, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Assam and Rajasthan are lying below national figure.
