Central and State Share Released for Andhra Pradesh under SSA/Samagra Shiksha (Elementary Education) during 2015-16 to 2018-19

Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) was operational till 2017-18 and now this stands subsumed in Integrated Scheme for School Education – Samagra Shiksha effective from 2018-19. Amount of Central share released for Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 668.11 crore under SSA/Samagra Shiksha (Elementary Education) in 2015-16. It has decreased by -5.25% to Rs. 633.02 crore during 2016-17 above 2015-16. Annual decline of -19.77% has been observed in release of Central share for Andhra Pradesh under SSA/Samagra Shiksha (Elementary Education) to Rs. 565.09 crore during 2018-19 against Rs. 704.31 crore during 2017-18.

We have seen annual decline of -5.6% in amount released by Andhra Pradesh under SSA/Samagra Shiksha (Elementary Education) from Rs. 447.03 crore during 2015-16 to Rs. 422.01 crore during 2016-17. Amount released by Andhra Pradesh was Rs. 375.06 crore under SSA/Samagra Shiksha (Elementary Education) during 2018-19, down by -20.12% versus Rs. 469.54 crore during 2017-18.

Maximum share of Rs. 704.31 crore was released in 2017-18 by Central Govt. for Andhra Pradesh under SSA/Samagra Shiksha (Elementary Education) during the period under consideration.
