Category of Staff-wise number of Personnel and Expenditure in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17

There were a total of 44790 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. There were various categories of staff named Pilots and Co-Pilots, Other Cockpit Personnel, Cabin Attendants, Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel, Ticketing and Sales Personnel and All Other Personnel during 2016-17.

Under Pilots and Co-Pilots category, there were 5508 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. It accounted 12.3% of the total Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. Under this category, there was an expenditure of Rs. 33844.2 million in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17, which accounted 53.98% of the total expenditure. Under Other Cockpit Personnel category, there were 616 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. It accounted 1.38% of the total Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. Under this category, there was an expenditure of Rs. 632 million in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17, which accounted 1.01% of the total expenditure.

Under Cabin Attendants category, there were 10442 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. It accounted 23.31% of the total Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. Under this category, there was an expenditure of Rs. 6232.3 million in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17, which accounted 9.94% of the total expenditure. Under Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel category, there were 4953 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. It accounted 11.06% of the total Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. Under this category, there was an expenditure of Rs. 9071.9 million in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17, which accounted 14.47% of the total expenditure.

Under Ticketing and Sales Personnel category, there were 2567 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. It accounted 5.73% of the total Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. Under this category, there was an expenditure of Rs. 1930.4 million in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17, which accounted 3.08% of the total expenditure. Under All Other Personnel category, there were 20704 Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. It accounted 46.22% of the total Personnel in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17. Under this category, there was an expenditure of Rs. 10991.6 million in Scheduled Private Airlines during 2016-17, which accounted 17.53% of the total expenditure.
