Category of Staff-wise Expenditure of Air India during 2016-17

During 2016-17, total expenditure of Air India was Rs. 25578.29 million. On the basis of category of staff, maximum expenditure of Rs. 11061.78 million (43.25%) was for Pilots and Co-Pilots of Air India during 2016-17, followed by All Other Personnel, Cabin Attendants, Ticketing and Sales Personnel, Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel, and Other Cockpit Personnel.

Expenditure for All Other Personnel of Air India was Rs. 6014.87 million during 2016-17, which was 23.52% of the total expenditure of Air India during 2016-17. Expenditure for Cabin Attendants of Air India was Rs. 4784.15 million during 2016-17, which was 18.7% of the total expenditure of Air India during 2016-17.

During 2016-17, Expenditure for Ticketing and Sales Personnel, Maintenance and Overhaul Personnel, and Other Cockpit Personnel of Air India was Rs. 3583.54 million (14.01%), Rs. 133.94 million (0.52%) and Rs. 0 million (0%) respectively.
