Cases registered under Cyber Crime by Motive of Eve teasing/Harassment category in 2013

This visualization throws light on the cases registered under cyber crime by motives of Eve teasing/ Harassment category in the year 2013. In India, total 1116 cases had been registered under cyber crime by motives of Eve teasing/ Harassment category in the year 2013.

The seven Indian states in terms of the maximum number of cyber crimes registered (above 60 cases) by Motives of Eve teasing/ Harassment category in the year 2013 were: Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.

Maharashtra was on the top with 233 cases registered, thus Maharashtra accounted for 20.9% of the total cases registered under cyber crime by motives of Eve teasing/ Harassment category in India in the year 2013. Andhra Pradesh with 225 cases registered, thus Andhra Pradesh accounted for 20.2% of the total cases registered under cyber crime by motives of Eve teasing/ Harassment category in India in the year 2013.

In Uttar Pradesh, 161 cases had been registered which was 14.4% of All India. In Kerala, 136 cases had been registered which was 12.2% of All India. In Karnataka, 67 cases had been registered which was 6% of All India. In Madhya Pradesh, 61 cases had been registered which was 5.5% of All India. In Rajasthan, 61 cases had been registered which was 5.5% of All India.

The states/UTs, wherein no cyber crime by motives of Eve teasing/ Harassment category in the year 2013 was registered, were as follows: Orissa, Manipur, Bihar, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Chandigarh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep and Puducherry.
