Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 2007-08 to 2016-17

India has witnessed a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.5% in Scheduled Total Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 2007-08 to 2016-17. We have observed a CAGR of 8.6% and 8.3% in Scheduled Domestic Cargo Traffic and Scheduled International Cargo Traffic respectively of All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 2007-08 to 2016-17.

Scheduled Total Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines was 445466.2 tonne during 2007-08; Out of which Scheduled Domestic Cargo Traffic was 302565.2 tonne (67.9%) and Scheduled International Cargo Traffic was 142901 tonne (32.1%). We have seen an annual growth of -8.2%, 21.8% and 1.4% in Scheduled Domestic Cargo Traffic, Scheduled International Cargo Traffic and Scheduled Total Cargo Traffic respectively of All Scheduled Indian Airlines during 2008-09 over 2007-08.

We have observed an annual growth of 6.3% in Scheduled Total Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines from 875634.3 tonne during 2015-16 to 931081.6 tonne during 2016-17. Out of these 931081.6 tonne of Scheduled Total Cargo Traffic during 2016-17; 637797.5 tonne (68.5%) was from Scheduled Domestic Cargo Traffic and 293284.2 tonne (31.5%) was from Scheduled International Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines. An annual growth of 2.3% and 16.4% has been found in Scheduled Domestic Cargo Traffic and Scheduled International Cargo Traffic respectively of All Scheduled Indian Airlines during 2016-17 over 2015-16.

Maximum annual growth of 36.4% has been seen in 2013-14 in Scheduled Domestic Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines during the period under consideration. Maximum annual growth of 25.9% has been seen in 2009-10 in Scheduled International Cargo Traffic of All Scheduled Indian Airlines during the period under consideration.
