Capital Infusion in Public Sector Banks in 2014-15

The amount of capital infusion in Public Sector Banks (PSBs) by the government in India was 6990 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a decline of -8010 crores (-53.4%) over the previous year 2013-14.

The amount of capital infusion in State Bank of India was 2970 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a growth of 970 crores (48.5%) over previous year. State Bank of India accounted for 42.49% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15. The amount of capital infusion in Bank of Baroda was 1260 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a growth of 710 crores (129.09%) over previous year. Bank of Baroda accounted for 18.03% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15. The amount of capital infusion in Punjab National Bank was 870 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a growth of 370 crores (74%) over previous year. Punjab National Bank accounted for 12.45% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15.

The amount of capital infusion in Canara Bank was 570 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a growth of 70 crores (14%) over previous year. Canara Bank accounted for 8.15% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15. The amount of capital infusion in Syndicate Bank was 460 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a growth of 260 crores (130%) over previous year. Syndicate Bank accounted for 6.58% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15. The amount of capital infusion in Allahabad bank was 320 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a decline of -80 crores (-20%) over previous year. Allahabad bank accounted for 4.58% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15.

The amount of capital infusion in Indian bank was 280 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a growth of 280 crores over previous year. Indian bank accounted for 4.01% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15. The amount of capital infusion in Dena Bank was 140 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a decline of -560 crores (-80%) over previous year. Dena Bank accounted for 2% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15. The amount of capital infusion in Andhra Bank was 120 crores in the year 2014-15. It recorded a decline of -80 crores (-40%) over previous year. Andhra Bank accounted for 1.72% of total amount of capital infusion in PSBs in India in 2014-15.
