Candidates Trained under RSETIs in India from 2014-15 to 2019-20

Ministry of Rural Development is implementing two skill development initiatives namely 1. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya – Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) and 2. Rural Self Employment and Training Institutes (RSETIs) for rural poor youth under the National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) to eradicate poverty in the country.

The number of candidates trained under RSETIs was 392,206, 436,385, 445,143, 423,343 and 403,672 in India from 2014-15 to 2018-19 respectively. During 2019-20 (As on 31st May 2019), 41,323 candidates were trained under RSETIs in India.
