Budgetary Allocation for Department of Health Research in India from 2015-16 to 2019-20

India has witnessed an increasing trend in budgetary allocation for department of health research from 2015-16 to 2019-20. However, compound annual growth rate of 16.88% has been seen in budgetary allocation for department of health research in India during the period under consideration.

The budgetary allocation for department of health research in India was Rs. 1,018.17 crore in 2015-16. It has increased by 12.44% to Rs. 1,144.8 crore during 2016-17 above 2015-16. Annual growth of 20% has been observed in budgetary allocation for department of health research in India during 2018-19 from Rs. 1,500 crore during 2017-18. The budgetary allocation for department of health research in India was Rs. 1,900 crore during 2019-20, up by 5.56% against Rs. 1,800 crore during 2018-19.

The maximum annual growth of 31.03% has been found in 2017-18 in budgetary allocation for department of health research in India during the period under consideration.
