Average number of wagons attached and load of goods train from 2000-01 to 2013-14

This visualization shows the insight of Train usage in terms of number of wagons attached and net load per train under broad gauge and metre gauge from 2000-01 to 2013-14.

In 2000-01, number of wagons attached per train was 108 (28.7% higher than the average number of wagons attached per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under broad gauge i.e. 83.9) and net load was 1233 tonnes (20.3% lower than the average net load per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under broad gauge i.e. 1547.6 tonnes) under broad gauge.

Number of wagons attached in metre gauge was 46 (22.7% higher than the average number of wagons attached per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under metre gauge i.e. 37.5) and net load was 414 tonnes (11.6% lower than the average net load per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under metre gauge i.e. 468.5).

In 2013-14, number of wagons attached per train was 47 (44% lower than the average number of wagons attached per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under broad gauge i.e. 83.9) and net load was 1686 tonnes (8.9% higher than the average net load per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under broad gauge i.e. 1547.6 tonnes) under broad gauge.

Number of wagons attached in metre gauge was 24 (36% lower than the average number of wagons attached per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under metre gauge i.e. 37.5) and net load was 565 tonnes (20.6% higher than the average net load per train from 2000-01 to 2013-14 under metre gauge i.e. 468.5).
