Average Milk Yield from Exotic/Crossbred Cows in India during 2014-15

The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in India as a whole was 7.15 Kg. during 2014-15. The top 10 states in terms of the average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows were: Punjab, Chandigarh, Gujarat, Meghalaya, Haryana, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Goa and Andhra Pradesh during 2014-15.

The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Punjab was 11.21 Kg. during 2014-15. It was 4.06 Kg. higher than the average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in India as a whole. In percentage terms, average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows was higher by 56.78% as compared to All India yield during 2014-15.

The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Chandigarh was 9.1 Kg. during 2014-15. It was 1.95 Kg. higher than the average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in India as a whole. In percentage terms, average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows was higher by 27.27% as compared to All India yield during 2014-15. The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Gujarat was 9.08 Kg. during 2014-15. It was 1.93 Kg. higher than the average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in India as a whole. In percentage terms, average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows was higher by 26.99% as compared to All India yield during 2014-15.

The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Meghalaya was 8.92 Kg. during 2014-15. It was 1.77 Kg. higher than the average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in India as a whole. In percentage terms, average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows was higher by 24.76% as compared to All India yield during 2014-15. The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Haryana was 8.75 Kg. during 2014-15. It was 1.6 Kg. higher than the average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in India as a whole. In percentage terms, average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows was higher by 22.38% as compared to All India yield during 2014-15.

The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Kerala was 8.62 Kg. during 2014-15 (1.47 Kg. higher than the All India yield). The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Madhya Pradesh was 7.99 Kg. during 2014-15 (0.84 Kg. higher than the All India yield). The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Rajasthan was 7.93 Kg. during 2014-15 (0.78 Kg. higher than the All India yield).

The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Goa was 7.47 Kg. during 2014-15 (0.32 Kg. higher than the All India yield). The average milk yield per day from exotic/crossbred cows in Andhra Pradesh was 7.43 Kg. during 2014-15 (0.28 Kg. higher than the All India yield).
