The total fund allocation was Rs. 1071.24 crore in India under Revised National TB Control Programme (RNTCP) during 2019-20. The top 5 states in terms of fund Allocation under RNTCP during 2019-20 were Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal and Bihar.
Allocation of fund under RNTCP was Rs. 138.07 crore to Uttar Pradesh during 2019-20, which accounted 12.89% of the total allocation of fund in India under this programme. There was allocation of Rs. 110.27 crore for Maharashtra under RNTCP during 2019-20. It accounted 10.29% of the total funds allocated in India under this programme during the same period. Allocation of fund to Tamil Nadu was Rs. 72.66 crore under RNTCP during 2019-20, which accounted 6.78% of the total fund allocation in India under this programme.
There was allocation of Rs. 72.11 crore and Rs. 60.29 crore for West Bengal and Bihar respectively under RNTCP during 2019-20. West Bengal accounted for 6.73% and Bihar accounted for 5.63% of the total allocation of fund in India under this programme during 2019-20.
