All India Consumer Price Index (Rural/Urban) from January 2023 to March 2023

Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures changes over time in the general level of prices of goods and services that households acquire for the purpose of consumption. For the construction of CPI numbers, two requisite components are weighing diagrams (consumption patterns) and price data collected at regular intervals.
The data refers to the All India Consumer Price Index with the base year 2013 equal to 100 and combined for both rural and urban areas. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Milk and products increased from 174.6 in January 2023 to 177.3 in March 2023 showing an increase of 2.7 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Oils and fats decreased from 187.2 in January 2023 to 179.2 in March 2023 showing a decrease of 8 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Fruits increased from 158.3 in January 2023 to 169.5 in March 2023 showing an increase of 11.2 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Vegetables decreased from 153.9 in January 2023 to 152.8 in March 2023 showing a decrease of 1.1 points.
