All India Consumer Price Index of Milk and products, Oils and fats, Sugar and Confectionery, and Food & beverages from January 2022 to October 2022

Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures changes over time in the general level of prices of goods and services that households acquire for the purpose of consumption. For the construction of CPI numbers, two requisite components are weighing diagrams (consumption patterns) and price data collected at regular intervals. The data refers to the All India Consumer Price Index with the base year 2012 equal 100 and combined for both rural and urban areas. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Milk and products increased from 160.5 in January 2022 to 170.9 in October 2022 showing an increase of 10.4 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Oils and fats increased from 184.7 in January 2022 to 186.5 in October 2022 showing an increase of 1.8 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Sugar and Confectionery increased from 120 in January 2022 to 121.9 in October 2022 showing an increase of 1.9 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Food and beverages increased from 166.4 in January 2022 to 179.6 in October 2022 showing an increase of 13.2 points.
