All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) from January 2022 to November 2022

Consumer Price Index (CPI) measures changes over time in the general level of prices of goods and services that households acquire for the purpose of consumption. For the construction of CPI numbers, two requisite components are weighing diagrams (consumption patterns) and price data collected at regular intervals. The data refers to the All India Consumer Price Index with the base year 2012 equal 100 and combined for both rural and urban areas.
All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Cereals and products increased from 149.5 in January 2022 to 167.4 in November 2022 showing an increase of 117.9 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Vegetables increased from 174.3 in January 2022 to 183.1 in November 2022 showing an increase of 8.8 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – Fruits increased from 153.7 in January 2022 to 160.7 in November 2022 showing an increase of 7.7 points. All India Consumer Price Index (CPI) – General index increased from 165.7 in January 2022 to 176.5 in November 2022 showing an increase of 10.8 points. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the rural area, the General index increased from 166.4 in January 2022 to 177.8 in November 2022 showing an increase of 11.4 points. Consumer Price Index (CPI) for the urban area, General index increased from 165 in January 2022 to 174.1 in November 2022 showing an increase of 9.1 points.
