Airline-wise Scheduled International Passengers Carried to & from India by Domestic Carriers during 2016-17

There were 20619146 scheduled International passengers carried to & carried from India by domestic carriers during 2016-17; out of which 10195917 (49.45%) passengers carried to India and 10423229 (50.55%) passengers carried from India.

Domestic carriers namely Air India, Air India Express, Indigo, Jet Airways and Spicejet had provided scheduled International services for the Year 2016-17. Out of the total 10195917 scheduled International passengers carried to India during 2016-17; maximum passengers carried by was Jet Airways i.e., 3942562 passengers followed by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet. The number of scheduled International passengers carried to India was 2894180, 1587542, 946037 and 825596 by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet respectively during 2016-17. Jet Airways, Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet accounted for 38.7%, 28.4%, 15.6%, 9.6% and 8.1% respectively of the total scheduled International passengers carried to India during 2016-17.

Out of the total 10423229 scheduled International passengers carried from India during 2016-17; maximum passengers carried by was Jet Airways i.e., 3992476 passengers followed by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet. The number of scheduled International passengers carried from India was 2874662, 1717199, 985827 and 853065 by Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet respectively during 2016-17. Jet Airways, Air India, Air India Express, Indigo and Spicejet accounted for 38.3%, 27.6%, 16.5%, 9.5% and 8.2% respectively of the total scheduled International passengers carried from India during 2016-17.
