Age group wise COVID 19 vaccination details in Tamil Nadu till 31st August 2021

Coronavirus Disease (COVID 19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered Corona Virus. The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes. The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is to protect yourself and others from infection, by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.

The Department of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Government of Tamil Nadu is bringing out daily bulletin on the status of COVID-19. Based on this data, the graph shown below, explains the district wise break up of COVID 19 vaccination to beneficiaries under different age groups in Tamil Nadu

This graph explains the number of beneficiaries vaccinated under different age groups from 18 years to less than 44 years, from 45 years to less than 60 years and beneficiaries above 60 years. Also, each category has been sub-classified to show the district wise break up of vaccination to beneficiaries  in Tamil Nadu.
