Top 10 States/UTs in terms of Number of Enrolled Families under Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana during 2016-17

The top 10 States/UTs in terms of number of Enrolled Families under Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) during 2016-17 were Bihar, West Bengal, Karnataka, Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kerala, Assam, Tripura and Himachal Pradesh.

The number of enrolled families under RSBY in Bihar was 7028409 during 2016-17, up by 1.87% from 6899144 during 2015-16. The number of enrolled families under RSBY in West Bengal was 6290446 during 2016-17. It has increased by 2.27% during 2016-17 above 2015-16 from 6150716 enrolments. The number of enrolled families under RSBY in Karnataka was 6206620 during 2016-17, down by -7.8% from 6731881 during 2015-16.

There were 4462959, 4146227, 2691497, 2060953, 1421104, 481331 and 480588 enrolled families under RSBY in Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kerala, Assam, Tripura and Himachal Pradesh respectively during 2016-17. Whereas during 2015-16, the number of enrolled families under RSBY in Orissa, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Kerala, Assam, Tripura and Himachal Pradesh was 4462959, 3442749, 1876628, 2021572, 1421104, 492022 and 480588 respectively.
