Age Group-wise Male Persons Missing and Traced during 2016

Total number of Missing Male Persons was 234334 as of December 2016; Out of which 116418 (49.68%) were missing during 2016 and 117916 (50.32%) were Unrecovered Missing Male Persons of Previous years. Among all the Age-Group of Missing Male, ‘Adults – (Above 18 and Below 60)’ had the maximum number of Missing Persons during 2016, i.e., 84852 (72.89%), followed by ‘Children (Boys) – (Below 18 Years)’ and ‘Senior Citizen – (60 Years and Above)’ with 22340 (19.19%) missing and 9226 (7.92%) missing respectively.

The number of Missing Male Persons under Age-Group of ‘Adults – (Above 18 and Below 60)’ was 172267 as of December 2016; Out of which 84852 (49.26%) were missing during 2016 and 87415 (50.74%) were Unrecovered Missing of Previous years. Out of these total 172267 Missing Male Persons under Age-Group of ‘Adults – (Above 18 and Below 60)’; 62762 (36.4%) were traced during 2016 and 109505 (63.6%) were untraced.

The number of Missing Male Persons under Age-Group of ‘Children (Boys) – (Below 18 Years)’ was 41175 as of December 2016; Out of which 22340 (54.26%) were missing during 2016 and 18835 (45.74%) were Unrecovered Missing of Previous years. Out of these total 41175 Missing Male Persons under Age-Group of ‘Children (Boys) – (Below 18 Years)’; 20364 (49.5%) were traced during 2016 and 20811 (50.5%) were untraced.

The number of Missing Male Persons under Age-Group of ‘Senior Citizen – (60 Years and Above)’ was 20892 as of December 2016; Out of which 9226 (44.16%) were missing during 2016 and 11666 (55.84%) were Unrecovered Missing of Previous years. Out of these total 20892 Missing Male Persons under Age-Group of ‘Senior Citizen – (60 Years and Above)’; 6397 (30.6%) were traced during 2016 and 14495 (69.4%) were untraced.
