We have witnessed an increasing trend in World Oil Consumption from 2010 to 2016. We have seen a compound annual growth rate of 1.31% in Oil Consumption in the World during the above said period.
During 2010, Oil Consumption was 4085.422 million tonnes in the World. It has increased by 0.99% to 4125.733 million tonnes during 2011 over 2010. Annual growth of 2.02% has been observed in Oil Consumption in the World during 2015 from 4254.827 million tonnes during 2014. We have seen an annual growth of 1.78% in Oil Consumption in the World to 4418.248 million tonnes during 2016 versus 4340.957 million tonnes during 2015.
Maximum annual growth rate of 2.02% has been found in 2015 in World Oil Consumption during the period under consideration. Minimum annual growth rate of 0.8% has been found in 2014 in World Oil Consumption during the period under consideration.
Note: The figures are in Million Tonnes; *: Inland demand plus international aviation and marine bunkers and refinery fuel and loss.
