We have observed a compound annual growth rate of 9.9% in Foreign Exchange Reserves of India from Rs. 13610.14 billion during 2010-11 to Rs. 23982 billion during 2016-17. Maximum annual growth rate of 16.91% has been seen in 2014-15 in Foreign Exchange Reserves during the period under consideration.
We have observed a compound annual growth rate of 3.87% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Gold during 2010-11 to 2016-17. India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Gold was Rs. 1025.72 billion during 2010-11. It has increased by 34.78% to Rs. 1382.5 billion during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have seen growth rate of -3.45% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Gold to Rs. 1288.3 billion during 2016-17 versus Rs. 1334.3 billion during 2015-16. Maximum annual growth rate of 34.78% has been found in 2011-12 in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Gold during the period under consideration.
We have observed a compound annual growth rate of -12.15% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Special Drawing Rights (SDR) during 2010-11 to 2016-17. India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as SDR was Rs. 204.01 billion during 2010-11. It has increased by 12.05% to Rs. 228.6 billion during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have seen growth rate of -5.82% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as SDR from Rs. 99.6 billion during 2015-16 to Rs. 93.8 billion during 2016-17. Maximum annual growth rate of 13.98% has been found in 2013-14 in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as SDR during the period under consideration.
We have observed a compound annual growth rate of 10.62% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Foreign Currency Assets during 2010-11 to 2016-17. India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Foreign Currency Assets was Rs. 12248.83 billion during 2010-11. It has increased by 8.62% to Rs. 13305.11 billion during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have seen growth rate of 1.17% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Foreign Currency Assets to Rs. 22449.4 billion during 2016-17 versus Rs. 22190.6 billion during 2015-16. Maximum annual growth rate of 19.54% has been found in 2014-15 in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Foreign Currency Assets during the period under consideration.
We have observed a compound annual growth rate of 2.26% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Reserve Tranch Position during 2010-11 to 2016-17. India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Reserve Tranch Position was Rs. 131.58 billion during 2010-11. It has increased by 10.28% to Rs. 145.11 billion during 2011-12 over 2010-11. We have seen growth rate of -7.61% in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Reserve Tranch Position from Rs. 162.9 billion during 2015-16 to Rs. 150.5 billion during 2016-17. Maximum annual growth rate of 101.61% has been found in 2015-16 in India’s Foreign Exchange Reserves as Reserve Tranch Position during the period under consideration.
