District-wise Percentage of Literate Women and Men in Sikkim during 2015-16 (NFHS-4)

According to National Family Health Survey-4 (NFHS-4), North District of Sikkim had Women literate of 85.5% and Men literate of 88.7% during 2015-16. According to NFHS-4, West District of Sikkim had 84.2% Women literate and 88.4% Men literate during 2015-16. According to NFHS-4, South District of Sikkim had literate of 86.3% and 89.5% for Women and Men respectively during 2015-16. According to NFHS-4, East District of Sikkim had Women literate of 87.9% and Men literate of 93.8% during 2015-16.

Among the four districts (North District, West District, South District and East District) of Sikkim; East District had maximum Women literate of 87.9% and maximum Men literate of 93.8% during 2015-16 (NFHS-4).
