Export of Synthetic Rubber (Elastomers) in Major Petrochemicals during 2009-10 to 2016-17

There were different products namely Styrene Butadiene Rubber, Poly Butadiene Rubber, Ethyl Propylene Dimers, Ethyl Vinyl Acetate, Nitrile Butadiene Rubber and Butyl Rubber exported from India under Synthetic Rubber (Elastomers) group during 2009-10 to 2016-17.

Compound annual growth rate of 20.61% has been seen in export of Styrene Butadiene Rubber from 7309 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 27139 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum annual growth of 140.64% was observed in export of Styrene Butadiene Rubber in 2014-15 during the period under consideration. Compound annual growth rate of 27.95% has been seen in export of Poly Butadiene Rubber from 911 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 5114 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum annual growth of 618.73% was observed in export of Poly Butadiene Rubber in 2014-15 during the period under consideration.

Compound annual growth rate of 6.78% has been seen in export of Ethyl Propylene Dimers from 2074 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 3282 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum annual growth of 75.55% was observed in export of Ethyl Propylene Dimers in 2013-14 during the period under consideration. Compound annual growth rate of 12.33% has been seen in export of Ethyl Vinyl Acetate from 662 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 1494 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum annual growth of 114.97% was observed in export of Ethyl Vinyl Acetate in 2012-13 during the period under consideration.

Compound annual growth rate of -25.16% has been seen in export of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber from 3430 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 451 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum annual growth of 667.66% was observed in export of Nitrile Butadiene Rubber in 2011-12 during the period under consideration. Compound annual growth rate of -5.71% has been seen in export of Butyl Rubber from 1093 metric tonne during 2009-10 to 724 metric tonne during 2016-17. A maximum annual growth of 432.81% was observed in export of Butyl Rubber in 2013-14 during the period under consideration.
